WHAT A START TO THE SEASON! Big pussy's galore! Horseshoe has done lots of carp to mid twenty's, a shed load of cats in all manner of sizes topped with 2 x 60lb plus fish to 68lb. Longlake has done countless good carp with a lot showing in the mid twenty's, cats in their 20's and 30's have been common place with 2 x 40's to 44lb 12oz, and Golden has at last broken the 30lb barrier with a 33lb whopper!
GOOD NEWS!
It looks like I am winning the battle with weed on the Horseshoe. Yes the lake is blue again and yes the weed is still there a bit, fish love it mind, however, it's nowhere near as bad as last year, we estimate at least 50% less growth this time. Give me 12 months and I should get there, I hope.
